What A Week!!!!!

This past Sunday, March 15, we started revival services at our church. Our Associate Pastor, Bill Mayo, delivered a powerful message in the Sunday morning worship service. He preached from Acts 12 on the subject, "Spoiled Intentions." He drew his thought from where Herod "intended" to kill Simon Peter after he had beheaded James. He preached how God can spoil the intentions of Satan against our lives. It was truly a powerful Word from the Lord. Many filled the altars seeking the Lord with one person accepting Christ as their Savior. PRAISE GOD!
Sunday night, we had Big Mo preaching for us. He has a dynamic singing ministry, not to mention his call to preach.

Sunday night he preached from 2 Timothy 3 on the churches need for the power of the Holy Spirit. He drew from the reality that many churches are substituting other "gimmicks" in the place of the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

Monday night he preached from Jeremiah 8 on the subject, The church is for Birds. What a powerful message.

Tuesday night he preached from Job 1 on the subject, Living in the land of Uz. This message zeroed in on the importance of hedge building around our lives and our families lives. Again, it was truly a powerful Word from the Lord.

Wednesday night he preached from Revelation 2 on the subject, The White Stone. He gave us what the white stone was used for historically and the significance of each event. As with the previous nights, it was truly a powerful Word from the Lord.

At the close of the meetings, including Sunday morning, 14 individuals had accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It was truly a great blessing to see lives pour out their heart to the Lord for forgiveness of their sins and allow the peace of God to flood their heart and minds.

There is no doubt to the reality of the Holy Spirit's work in the lives of individuals today and that Jesus is still saving and redeeming lives from the strongholds of sin. Hallelujah!

Until my next blog confabulation….God bless!
